Trial Date Set in Federal Securities Lawsuit Against Laddcap

STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delcath Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: DCTH) today announced that a consolidated preliminary injunction hearing and trial on the merits in Delcath's federal securities lawsuit against Laddcap Value Partners LP has been scheduled by the Honorable Loretta A. Preska of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York to commence on November 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Pending the Court's decision following the consolidated preliminary injunction hearing and trial, the parties are prohibited from taking any further action on the consents or consent revocations they have obtained. As previously announced, Judge Preska has found that Delcath has "a likelihood of success on the merits of its [Section] 13(d) and 14(a) claims" against Laddcap.
